Memorial Day/Decoration Day....whichever you want to call it. Since my parents were not able to travel to Sanpete and Sevier Counties, I decorated their parents' graves. It gave me time to reflect on my heritage and how much my grandparents did for me. I didn't know my Grandpa Christiansen because he died when my dad was only a little boy, but the others I knew well and I am grateful that they are my grandparents.

I feel lucky to have known your grandparents as well!! Not many people get to know even their grandparents...let alone their great-grandparents.
Me, too. I have been very blessed with Great Grandparents and Grandparents.
Mom & Dad will be so greatful you did that for them. I know they were worried about it.
